At Hapetito, we offer a range of freshly cooked recipes made with natural, human-grade ingredients. Each meal features high-quality proteins (like chicken, pork, beef, or fish), fresh vegetables, and a precise blend of vitamins and minerals to ensure complete and balanced nutrition – formulated according to FEDIAF standards by veterinary nutrition experts.
Everything we use is sourced from trusted food suppliers and local farms, and cooked gently to preserve nutrients – not made to sit on a shelf for years.

Do I need to cook the food?
No cooking needed. Our natural food are gently pre-cooked, pre-portioned, and ready to serve. Just bring it to a comfortable temperature for your pet with one of these easy methods:

Let it thaw outside the fridge to room temperature before serving.Warm Water:
Place the sealed pack in a bowl of warm water until thawed.Microwave:
Take the food out from the pack and heat for about 30 seconds. Some pet prefer heated food :)!
How should I store Hapetito's natural food?
You will be receiving our food frozen. Keep unopened packs frozen in freezer, thaw what you need in the fridge or in room temperature. DO NOT refreeze once thawed.
Storage guidelines:
- Unopened in freezer (-18ºC or below): up to 6 months
- Unopened in fridge (0ºC to 4ºC): up to 4 days
- Opened and stored in fridge: consume within 2 days

What is freeze-dried pet food?
Freeze-dried food is made by removing moisture from fresh ingredients while keeping all the natural flavor and nutrients.
How should I store freeze-dried snacks?
Just keep them in a cool, dry place — no fridge needed. Make sure to seal the bag after each use to keep them fresh and crunchy.
How should I feed freeze-dried to my pet?
- Serve dry straight from the bag as a treat.
- Crumble over regular meals as a flavor or nutrition boost.
- Rehydrate with a little water if your pet prefers softer textures.

Our meals are delivered on a flexible schedule, based on your pet’s needs. Each order arrives in refrigerated packaging to keep the food fresh and safe. Portions are pre-packed for easy feeding, and you can manage or adjust your delivery schedule anytime.
Snacks :
Our snacks are also delivered on a flexible schedule. They arrive at room temperature in sealed packaging to keep them fresh and safe. Just tear open the package and enjoy the snacks.

What is the delivery time?
Hapetito’s fresh food :
At Hapetito, we only start preparing your pet’s meals once your order is confirmed – so everything stays as fresh as possible. The typical delivery time is 2 to 3 days after placing your order. We’ll coordinate the exact delivery date and time with you via WhatsApp, based on your availability and location.
Snacks :
Delivery takes around 3 days within Portugal and 7 days internationally.
How do I know the food is safe to feed when it arrives?
Hapetito’s fresh food :
Your Hapetito meals should arrive frozen or very cold – similar to food just taken out of the fridge. A slight defrost is fine, but the food should still be below 4°C. If it arrives warm or fully thawed, please contact us before feeding.
Snacks :
All snacks are carefully sealed for freshness and are 100% safe to feed as long as the packaging remains intact upon arrival.
